Collin Downing.  A new opportunity occurred at gateway in 2010 when Collin came on board for a nine month internship.   His goal is to learn the many facets of serving a small church.  He is working with our young adults as well as Pastor Dave.

Volunteer Staff

Katie Smith.  It takes patience and a sharp eye to take care of the youngest of church attendees, those under Katie, nursery attendant.  She also sees that her charges come into the service for Children’s Time on Sunday morning.  She is here from 9-noon on Sunday.

MTO Director.  This position is currently under transition.  The Mother’s Time Out program offers a one morning a week free day care from September through May.

Cindy Mitchell.  Wearing many hats in the capacity of office manager, bookkeeper and receptionist, Cindy is in the main office from 9 am to 1 pm on Tuesday through Friday.

Joyce Dyck.  Joyce has served Gateway for over 20 years as music director and organist.  She holds choir rehearsal on Wednesday evenings and plans the music portion of the worship service.

The Rev. David Markwalder.  Gateway is truly fortunate to have an experienced Pastor as head of Staff.   He is in the church office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and often on other days when church activities are occurring.  He participates in every aspect of the church with inspiration and motivation.

Beth Lebsock.  This is a newly created duty of congregational care.  Beth has the responsibility of keeping close tab on all our members and friends who attend Gateway.

Jerry Payne.  Jerry directs and plans the music for the hand bells choir.  They perform during worship several times a year.

Leslie Zak.  The Financial Secretary is charged with counting and recording the weekly contributions.  She reports to the treasurer and the bookkeeper.
